What does ASCII stand for?

Acronym for the American Standard Code for Information Interchange. Pronounced ask-ee, ASCII is a code for representing English characters as numbers, with each letter assigned a number from 0 to 127. For example, the ASCII code for uppercase M is 77.

What are text-based unicode characters?

It’s basically a set of unicode characters assembled to form a text emoticon. Sometimes also refered to as emojicons, emoticons, kaomoji, Japanese emoticons, or text faces. Basically they laid the foundation for today‘s Emojis.

What about paper quality?

Our posters are printed on 190 g/m2 Epson Enhanced Matte Paper. I guess we can say they‘re museum–quality. See also Print quality.

Can I choose from different print sizes?

At the moment we only offer one size: 18in x 24in (45cm x 60cm). There‘s a slight chance we might add more sizes in the near future. In case you desperately crave a specific size send us a short message to hello@asciiprints.com and we will see what we can do for you.

What about framed prints?

Shipping framed prints implies very high shipping costs so we decided to ship prints only. You can find a lot of decent frames on Amazon or at your local IKEA.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal and international credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and many more).

I have a business, where can I add my VAT ID?

Unfortunately, Shopify doesn’t support VAT identification for intra-community acquisitions. So for now we are not able to offer a VAT-relief for intra-community acquisitions. In case you want to place a larger order, please contact us at hello@asciiprints.com and we‘ll try to find a solution.

What about custom duties & taxes outside US?

International shipments are generally subject to Customs Fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) and may be charged upon delivery. Unfortunately we have no way of estimating those fees so please check with your customs if there might be an additional cost (at all). Yep, we know it sucks, sorry for that :(

How much is shipping?

Shippping costs depend on destination and shipping method you‘ve chosen. They‘re calculated on the fly during your checkout process (before placing your order).

How long does shipping take?

It takes about 1-3 business days to make your prints. Shipping times highly depend on destination and shipping method you‘ve chosen.

Estimated shipping times for standard shipping:

• USA 3-5 business days
• Canada 5-10 business days
• Worldwide 10-20 business days

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes we do. You can choose from various shipping options during the checkout process.

Are my prints packed safely?

Of course! They are shipped in durable kraft tube boxes with plastic end caps.

What if my prints get lost or damaged?

Easy! If the poster is lost or damaged by mail service, we’ll send you a new one because we‘re nice people.

Do you offer tracking?

Standard delivery does not include tracking, if you want tracking details please select a recorded delivery service. Then to receive your tracking details, please email us with your order number at hello@asciiprints.com
